At the lastday of 2008 I submitted another idea at Brainstorm. This one is suggesting something that could make including new programs, features and the likes a lot easier.

Linux kernel 2.6.28 has been released, adding exiting new features like a memory-manager for GPUs and support for ext4.
It seems like the new kernel attracts quite some traffic because I get this notice when I try to look at the extensive changelog:
